Who We Are
Our group focuses on fundamental research and development in the area of novel architecture and programming paradigms of modular supercomputing.
This includes optimizing communication networks for interaction and scheduling of disaggregated resources, as well as integrating future non-von-Neumann architectures, particularly quantum computers, as modular compute resources for hybrid quantum-HPC calculations. Additionally, the group explores design concepts for modular data centers.
The MSQC group supports Goethe University Frankfurt in its further development into a national high-performance computing and quantum computing center (NHR Verbund). We also maintain close cooperation with the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC).
